Oud Al Hakim

A strange begining of an oud lover passed on from traditions and lineage from grandfather to father to son, from an early age I was astounded with the smell of the nature has provided us with. Back in those early days of 1990’s me being very young was introduced to itr and scents from flowers, spices, woods , etc. many of which were introduced by my mother and itrs from my father.

A man himself who was fond of different smells of agarwood, ambergris, sandalwood and many other ingredients, taught me to love and respect nature and also again from the religious perspective as we all know how agarwood, sandalwood and frankincense plays an important role in many different religions and cultures.

That’s how I got into the likings of this majestical wonderful smell of agarwood , with growing fondness and passion to try new oils everytime my father brought me one. Drawing inspiration from my father “Al Hajj Abdul Hakim Khan”, I decided to embark on this new journey of making and distilling oudh from all the helpful knowledge passed onto me by him.

We’ve been distilling oils from past couple of years trying new techniques, perfecting the oils as my father would have liked it to be, after many failures and many success I decided finally it’s time for others to also enjoy and learn more about oudh and so I founded this brand on December 2023 naming it after my late father ” Oud Al Hakim”

I, being born in Assam was naturally connected to oudh, a region known for one of the world’s best oudh oils, after many years of experiences, knowledge acquired through many people am here to let you experience the beauty of oudh.

We try to provide the best oudh oils one can find and at the best prices so its much more affordable to all the people who love this majestic oil, distilling oils from aquileria trees is not easy and finding one infected tree in the wild is much more stressing and hard as we all know what the oud industry has become with synthetics and adulteration all around.
