Inspiration

In the Gulf, using the mabkhara (bakhoor burner) is a gesture of welcome. Clothes, abayas, and kandoras are gently passed through the fragrant smoke before guests arrive, so that the scent of bakhoor moves with every step. Later, a line of oud on the wrists and behind the ears completes the ritual, deepening what the incense has already begun.

Oud x Bakhoor translates that tradition into a single composition. Arabian bakhoor rises first, warm, resinous and rich. A soft leather nuance adds a discreet French refinement. At the base, Oud brings the familiar gravity of traditional oils, the kind worn for family gatherings, celebrations and meetings in the majlis.
